October 2005 Melissa Landsmann joins Relevante, Inc. as Manager – Human Resources

August 2005 Relevante, Inc. establishes presence in India
Horsham, PA. August 18, 2005: Relevante, Inc. today announced the establishment of a wholly owned subsidiary based in Hyderabad, India. The subsidiary will service the company’s US-based clients with financial and BPO projects and will also support the company’s administrative and back office needs for its growing US operations.”The cost effective expertise of the Relevante India team will support our efforts to provide greater value to our clients while maintaining our commitment to quality deliverables of financial and accounting solutions,” said William Brassington, CPA, Relevante’s President & CEO.

The company appointed Kiran Zachariah, ACA, MBA as its Manager of Operations for the Indian entity. Zachariah will manage the offshore team based out of Hyderabad. “The Relevante India team will support the company’s goal of delivering timely, customized, and cost effective solutions to its US clients,” said Zachariah.

Relevante India has plans to hire up to 20 additional associates over the next 12 months in its new state of the art facility.

July 2005 Brandon Weinstock joins Relevante, Inc. as Director-Business Development
Horsham, PA. July 25, 2005: Relevante, Inc. today announced that Brandon Weinstock, CPA, has joined the company as Director-Business Development for its Finance & Accounting Practice. Weinstock will be responsible for leading the sales team as the company expands its operations in the Philadelphia market. “Brandon’s experience as a leader in the financial consulting industry gives him instant credibility with our clients,” said William Brassington, CPA, CEO of Relevante Inc. “His strong managerial skills and knowledge of the resourcing needs of finance and accounting managers at Fortune 100 companies will allow him to effectively grow the Relevante sales team,” he added.Prior to Relevante, Brandon was with Telesis Management Corporation where he served as Vice President, Operations for the Profit Impact Management division, an expense management and business process outsourcing firm. Previously he was Director of Business Intelligence Services for Margolis & Company, P.C., a regional CPA and business consulting firm. Prior to Margolis, Brandon was a consulting services manager for a national CPA firm.

July 2005 Relevante professionals present on Sarbanes Oxley Act at DIA Conference
Horsham, PA. July 14, 2005: Relevante, Inc professionals presented on the “Impact of the SOX Act on the Pharma Industry” at an interactive session at the Drug Information Association’s Annual Meeting, held from the 26th- 30th June 2005 in Washington DC. The session was chaired by Joe Curran, CPA, Senior Advisor, Relevante, Inc. with Fred Kaplan, MBA, CBM, Director of Financial Consulting, Relevante, Inc & Robert Rausch, MBA, Consultant & former Vice President of Finance, Zeneca Pharmaceuticals both presenting. The session analyzed the impact of the Sarbanes Oxley Act on the Pharma industry with a focus on R&D costs & revenues. It also highlighted the control environment & the best practices to meet the requirements of the Act and post implementation considerations for Year 2 of SOX compliance.While detailing the industry best practices, Robert Rausch, MBA advised the participants to “Move beyond the reactive SOX compliance steps to more proactive risk mechanisms, which enable management to identify and respond to risks before there is financial or reputation loss.”
